Come diving with Oceanic Whitetip Sharks!

Oceanic Whitetips are some of the most threatened pelagic sharks in the world. Notorious for their bold behavior, they are the quintessential open ocean predators.
Depleted in much of their range, the oceanic whitetip population of the outer Bahamian islands is still thriving, making this a unique 'last chance' encounter.

Join me on an expedition to one of the sharkiest islands in the Bahamian chain. Cat Island juts into the deep water of the Atlantic Ocean where migrating tuna attract oceanic whitetips and other large predators rarely seen this close to shore.

We will be staying at Hawksnest Resort and Marina and venturing each day out to deep water where oceanic whitetip sharks are regularly encountered.

As well as plenty of oceanic whitetips, Cat Island is home to bull sharks, silkies, Caribbean reef sharks, lemons, nurse sharks and tigers. Its only a matter of time before this epic shark diving destination makes its way into the record books as one of the most extreme shark diving locations in the world. NOW is the time to go!

Day 1, arrive on Cat Island. Get picked up at New Bight Airport and check into Hawks Nest Resort. Evening at leisure.
Day 2-6, Chase Oceanic Whitetips and other sharks (5 days of diving). On one or two evenings we will play with the nurse sharks in the marina when we return to the dock.
Day 7, Depart Cat Island.
